- Born in 1951, the year that introduced the Fender Precision Bass, I have felt a lifelong affinity for the Low End.
- I started playing in 1965 and joined Local New York Bands, performing British Invasion, Motown and Soul tunes. In 1968, I fell in love with The Blues of Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf and Albert King.
- After spending much of the ’70s backing Acoustic Singer/Songwriters, Skanking with Reggae Bands and Jamming Loft Jazz, I wandered into the historic Punk Rock Club, CBGB. I was knocked out by the raw power that reminded me of why I first played Rock and Roll. My New Wave/Power Pop Group, The Dates, spent the next few years sharing the stage with Blondie, The Ramones and Madonna.
- After moving to San Francisco in 1983, I played most of the Local Blues Clubs with The High Rollers, Brother Cat and Blind Lemon Phillips. I also played Acoustic World Music with Tapestry.
- In 2015 I retired from my day job, moved to The North Bay and began playing full time. I have Performed Blues with The Patrick Ford Band, Folk Rock with The Brian Travis Band, Hard Rock with The Lindsey Thomas Project and Acoustic Instrumental Music with Madera Marin.
- My current Bands are The Rock and Roll Rhythm Revue and Power Trio Big Daddy.
